MILAN DESIGN WEEK born, four days – October 14 to 17 – dedicated to shopping for home decor products, routes design, art and architecture. A great event dedicated to design, designed to support companies in the furniture sector, among main excellence of Italian industry, and to celebrate Milan as capital of design.
MILAN DESIGN WEEK is a unique event that brings together the world of production, distribution and media to create a great communication platform that can meet the needs of consumers who are increasingly informed and demanding, involving the Milan to a location of shopping and activities. Will be involved, in addition to businesses dedicated – showrooms, multi-brand outlets, small shops and department stores – art galleries, architecture, museums, hotels and major libraries of the two publishing groups in the city. The stores will be called to interpret, through exhibitions and events, the theme that gives the title to this first MILAN DESIGN WEEK edition of “The Art of Living, a new intimacy.” Partner initiative are: La Triennale di Milano and BDD – Brera Design District. During Milan Design Weekend will be offered three competitions. For the first, every showroom and shop CULT member will select a product that will be raffled.
